Every HAT-TAC begins its life by starting as scrap plastic that is snipped and discarded from other plastic products such as sunglasses, headphones, tv remotes, and much much more.
This excess plastic usually gets thrown straight in the trash by injection molding companies. We saw this as a problem and decided to buy that wasted plastic and repurpose it to decrease the amount of virgin plastic being used and also to keep it out of our landfills and oceans.
